Ayurveda distinguishes a womanโs life into different stages, based on the major functions that take place within their body. However, each stage has a unique composition of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha (the three doshas).
๐๐๐ฅ๐ (up to 10 years): Witnesses overall body development
๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข (10-12 years): Develops secondary sex characteristics
๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข (12-16 years): Beginning of menstruation, the body is capable of conceiving a child.
๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข (16-40 years): Peak reproductive capacity
๐๐ซ๐๐ฎ๐๐ก ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐ (40-50): Pre-menopausal symptoms
๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ก๐ (above 55): Menopause and gradual health decline
